Got some questions? We have some answers...
Why are you making a regional team?

This is the path that many clubs have started to go down. Clubs have come together to create elite programs for athletes in their region.  We have the talent to do the same, but they get spread out over many different clubs. This will give them a chance to play closer to home, without sacrificing any skill development, while keeping the financial commitment much lower.

All players, for all age groups (13U-18U), SHOULD attend the elite regional tryouts first. From there the top 10-12 players will be selected to represent our region (in their age category) in tournaments, premiers, provincials and the national tournament. It doesn’t matter which club you want to tryout for; these tryouts are your first step. If you are not selected on the elite regional team, you can then continue to tryout for BGV, APEX or any other club.

You will get more gym time/practice time, and more training days. More options for you, if you don’t make the regional team, you can continue the tryout process with either BGV or APEX.

No. APEX and BGV will continue to operate as normal. These teams will be independent of both clubs, but management from both clubs will run the teams. Such as: booking court time, tournaments, getting jerseys, etc.

Practices will be split between Leduc, Beaumont and South Edmonton.
